How are developers expected to build for Codegeist if Rovo access is still pending?

Despite creating a new Premium trial instance, Rovo is still not available. After doing some digging it looks like there is some sort of rollout and that I just have to wait until it is available in the instance, which I've already waited 30 days for and could be months away. The other discussion post had responses saying "Just grab a free trial instance and you're good to go with Rovo." I don't think they realise it's not available. What are we supposed to do here? I was really looking forward to taking part in the 6 best Rovo apps bonus prize.

I understand this is frustrating, especially if you were expecting to be able to trial Rovo directly.
With the Rovo-for-All announcement at Team ’25 US, Rovo stopped being a standalone product. Instead, it’s now included with eligible Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management cloud plans, and the previous “buy or trial Rovo” paths were retired.
    Today, to access Rovo:
Organization admins need to use verified accounts with a business domain (for example, @yourcompany.com). We’re not able to enable Rovo on sites where the org is registered with a generic email domain such as gmail.com or msn.com.
Rovo is available on Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plans of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
Customers can trial (https://www.atlassian.com/software) Rovo by starting a trial (https://www.atlassian.com/software) of any of these Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plans on a site that uses a business email domain. Note: Rovo is typically provisioned within 15min of the creation of an eligible product.

So, only business owners can join then.
